Notion
Set up the Notion connector in AccessLayer.
Notion is a workspace platform for documents, databases, knowledge management, and team collaboration.
In AccessLayer, the Notion connector lets you query pages, databases, users, and related workspace metadata for reporting and operational analysis.
Before you start
You will need a Notion integration token, and the integration must be shared with the pages and databases you want to query.
Before you begin, make sure you have:
- A Notion integration token
- Access to the Notion workspace you want to connect
For additional details, see the Notion integration setup documentation.
Share content with the integration
Creating the integration is not enough on its own. You must also share the relevant pages and databases with that integration before AccessLayer can read them.
Generating your credentials
Create a Notion integration
In Notion, create an internal integration for the workspace you want to connect.
Copy the integration token
After creating the integration, copy its secret token for use in AccessLayer.
Share the pages and databases you want to query
Open the relevant Notion pages or databases and share them with the integration you created.
Troubleshooting
The most common cause is that the integration has not been shared with the pages or databases you want to query.
Check whether the integration token was regenerated, revoked, or replaced. If it changed, update the connector configuration in AccessLayer.
Make sure those resources were shared with the same integration token that the connector is using.
