Convex
Set up the Convex connector in AccessLayer.
Convex is a reactive backend platform for full-stack applications with a hosted database, server functions, and real-time sync.
In AccessLayer, the Convex connector lets you query team, project, deployment, and team member metadata for operational reporting and analytics.
Before you start
You will need Convex management credentials for the team you want to query.
Before you begin, make sure you have:
- A Convex management API token
- Your Convex team ID

Team access required
Use a token that can access the same Convex team whose data you want AccessLayer to query.
Generating your credentials
Create or copy a management API token
In Convex, create a management API token or use an existing team or OAuth token that has access to the team you want to query.
Find your team ID
Find the Convex team ID for the team you want AccessLayer to query. If you are following Convex's Management API setup, use the team ID associated with that team.
Troubleshooting
Confirm that you are using a Convex management API token and that it has access to the target team.
Check that the team ID belongs to the same Convex team that your token can access.
Check whether the token was revoked, rotated, or limited to a different team or project scope. If it changed, generate a new token and update the connector in AccessLayer.
