Dashlane
Set up the Dashlane connector in AccessLayer.
Dashlane is a credential and password management platform for teams, with admin reporting APIs for members, devices, and password health.
In AccessLayer, the Dashlane connector lets you query team member, device, and password health data for operational reporting and security analytics.
Before you start
You will need a Dashlane Public API token for the team you want to query.
Before you begin, make sure you have:
- A Dashlane Public API bearer token
- Access to the Dashlane Admin Console or CLI for the target team
For additional details, see the Dashlane public API documentation.
Team admin access required
Use a token created for the Dashlane team you want AccessLayer to query. The API only returns data your Dashlane admin context can access.
Generating your credentials
Open the Dashlane Admin Console
Sign in to Dashlane with an admin account for the team you want to connect.
Generate a Public API token
Create a Dashlane Public API token from the Admin Console or the Dashlane CLI, then copy the token for use in AccessLayer.
Included collections
- Team Members
- Member Devices
- Password Health History
- Team Status
Troubleshooting
Confirm that the bearer token is valid and that it was created for the correct Dashlane team.
Check whether the token was revoked, rotated, or expired. If it changed, generate a new token and update the connector configuration in AccessLayer.
Make sure the token still belongs to an admin context with access to the members and reporting data you expect to query.
