Getting Started
Get AccessLayer connected and run your first query.
AccessLayer is an AI-powered business intelligence platform that connects to the tools your team already uses, makes that data queryable, and helps you turn it into charts, dashboards, and answers.
This guide helps you go from zero to a working workspace in AccessLayer.
If you do not have an account yet, create one first at app.accesslayer.ai.
Add your first connector
Connect your first source system so AccessLayer has real data to work with.
Choose a provider, enter the required credentials, and run the initial sync.
Generate your first visualization
Go to the chats page and ask a question about the connector you just added so you can quickly turn connected data into a chart or table.
Start with a simple question tied to the source you connected. Good first examples include:
- Revenue by month
- Page views by week
- Open issues by assignee
This is the fastest way to confirm the connector is working and that the data is useful before you save anything into a dashboard.
Build your first dashboard
Turn that initial visualization into a saved dashboard with a clear title, timeframe, and audience.
This is usually the point where a one-off exploration becomes a repeatable report.
Invite your teammates
Invite the people who should have access to your data by adding them to the organization.
Do this after the basics are working so new teammates land in an organization with real data, a working dashboard, and a clear starting point.
