AI Usage Policy
Terms governing use of AccessLayer's AI-enabled features.
Effective date: April 9, 2026
This AI Usage Policy applies to all use of AI-enabled features within AccessLayer.
Nature of AI Features
AccessLayer may use third-party AI model providers and routing or gateway providers to generate summaries, insights, answers, explanations, transformations, recommendations, or other outputs.
AI outputs are probabilistic and may be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, biased, or outdated.
No Professional Advice
AI outputs are provided for informational and workflow assistance purposes only. They are not legal, tax, financial, investment, accounting, employment, medical, compliance, or other professional advice.
You must not treat AI outputs as the sole basis for decisions that could affect money, legal rights, operations, personnel, health, safety, or compliance.
User Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- reviewing and validating outputs before use;
- verifying any SQL, analysis, charts, dashboards, or recommendations;
- ensuring prompts and submitted content are lawful and authorized; and
- deciding whether AI features are appropriate for your use case.
Sensitive and High-Risk Data
If you submit sensitive, regulated, confidential, or high-risk data to AI-enabled features, you do so at your own risk.
AccessLayer aims to use providers and settings that reduce provider-side data use where possible, but cannot guarantee that every provider, model, or routing path will support identical privacy controls at all times.
Provider Routing
AccessLayer may route AI requests through third-party providers, gateways, and model vendors selected by AccessLayer in order to operate, scale, or improve the Services.
Prohibited AI Uses
You must not use AI-enabled features to:
- generate unlawful or infringing material;
- impersonate others deceptively;
- engage in fraud, harassment, or abusive conduct;
- extract secrets or data you are not authorized to access; or
- generate malicious code or harmful workflows.
No Guarantee of Availability or Accuracy
AccessLayer does not guarantee the availability, accuracy, completeness, performance, or suitability of AI features or outputs.
We may add, remove, limit, or change AI models and AI features at any time.
