Acceptable Use Policy
Rules for lawful, authorized, and responsible use of AccessLayer.
Effective date: April 9, 2026
You may use AccessLayer only in lawful, authorized, and responsible ways.
You must not:
- access, connect, query, or export data without authorization;
- violate privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property, or other third-party rights;
- use stolen credentials, bypass access controls, or misuse OAuth or API tokens;
- overload, disrupt, reverse engineer, probe, or interfere with the Services or third-party integrations;
- scrape, exfiltrate, or mass-harvest data in an abusive or unauthorized manner;
- upload or transmit malware, ransomware, spyware, or harmful code;
- use the Services for fraud, deception, unlawful surveillance, or illegal activity;
- circumvent plan restrictions, usage caps, rate limits, or technical safeguards;
- submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or abusive; or
- use the Services in a way that materially degrades performance or availability for others.
AccessLayer may investigate suspected violations and may remove content, rate-limit workloads, suspend connectors, suspend accounts, or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect the Services, users, third parties, or AccessLayer.
This policy supplements the Terms of Service and violations may also be treated as violations of the Terms.
